Chasing Tides is a short documentary that delves into the life of Jelte, a former Google high-flyer, who makes the leap to start his own boat navigation start-up. Once nestled in the comforts of a well-paid job and a predictable life, a personal revelation after his son's birth set him on a path of adventure and self-discovery.
Dive deep into the heart of the boating world as Jelte challenges the outdated boat navigation industry by introducing 'Savvy Navvy', a revolutionary navigation app for boats. After a spontaneous journey on the Clipper around the world race, Jelte's adventure isn't just about disrupting an industry but also setting a precedent for his son - teaching him that dreams are worth chasing.
