World’s Smallest Surf Shack
Documentary about home away from home.
Lucas, who left his old life in New Zealand to come to Wales, and start The World’s Smallest Surf Shack, right on the coast of Nolton Haven. We believe this film sets the scene for the whole series, and explores topics like happiness, purpose and following your dreams, no matter how big or small. Over the period of around 2 months, we follow Lucas to understand what makes him lead the life he has created for himself, and what is ‘The Dream’?

Social Media content
To bring The World’s Smallest Surf Shack to a wider audience, we created a series of short, dynamic reels that captured the spirit of the film and resonated on social media. Our approach was to focus on relatable, inspiring snapshots of Lucas’s journey - moments that conveyed his pursuit of happiness, simplicity, and fulfilment. Each reel was designed to stand alone while inviting viewers into the deeper story of the documentary, balancing cinematic visuals with down-to-earth, engaging clips. The response was overwhelming, with the reels reaching hundreds of thousands and generating a strong sense of curiosity and connection with Lucas’s story. This successful social media campaign underscored the power of concise, visually rich content and the right approach in drawing viewers into the heart of a narrative.
